Senior Electronics Engineer needed to design and develop electronic based boards and systems for use in automated medical instrumentation.
Responsibilities include evaluating prototype boards and systems, implementing redesign as necessary, and facilitating the introduction of new
product designs into manufacturing. Provide support for existing products as well as solutions to electronics related issues in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Create original designs based on product requirements.
• Attend design related meetings as requested to provide input.
• Suggest design improvements for possible implementation.
• Remain current on available new components and technologies.
• Evaluate new test equipment for use by Product Development or Manufacturing.
• Design, and provide programming support for electronics based test fixtures.
• Generate, and implement written test procedures for use in producing products.
• Train manufacturing personnel on procedures relating to testing electronic assemblies.
• Provide electronics based technical expertise to manufacturing including troubleshooting.
• Evaluate Engineering Investigation Requests, and implement Engineering Change Orders.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years design experience at the above job description level.
• Experience programming with, and automation of testing using a Visual Basic type application.
• Experience with CAD based PCB design.
• Experience designing micro-controller based digital circuits and systems.
• Familiarity with firmware development as it relates to hardware design.

Additional Experience Preferred:

• Robotic automation systems.
• Medical diagnostic instrumentation.
• Machine vision systems.
• Designing of analog transducer interface circuits.
• Protel/Altium CAD software use.
